Asociación de Vuelo Libre de Jalisco A.C. ("the Club") hereby informs users, including but not limited to members, participants in courses, competitions and events, and the general public, about its personal data protection policy (the "Personal Data"). It sets out the terms under which the personal data collected from users will be processed, so that they can freely and voluntarily decide whether to provide the Club with the Personal Data obtained through the services offered, including but not limited to membership registrations, course, competition, fly-in and other event registrations, contact requests, and other sources permitted by applicable law.
The Personal Data required or obtained from users through the services offered, including membership registrations, course and event registrations, electronic contact requests and other sources permitted by law, are used for the following purposes:
- To manage your membership and affiliation with the Club.
- To register you for courses, competitions, fly-ins and other events organized or promoted by the Club.
- To contact you about changes of dates, flying conditions, launch sites or any other circumstance relevant to your participation.
- To carry out dissemination and promotion activities for the Club's activities.
- To fulfill our commitments to our members and participants, including organizing events, satisfaction surveys, and in general any action needed to provide you with good service and receive feedback on it.
- To keep our records up to date so we can answer your questions, invite you to events, and follow up on your relationship with the Club.
For the purposes mentioned above, the Club needs to obtain the data contained in, including but not limited to, registration forms, course and event registrations, electronic or internet communications, other sources permitted by law, and persons who have any relationship with the Club.
Please note that this website may use remote or local electronic communication mechanisms that, while you browse the site, automatically and simultaneously obtain certain technical information, such as: IP address, time, and information about the page you accessed and the page through which you reached our site, if any. We may use these technologies to: count recurring visits to our site; collect and report anonymous or aggregated information about the use of the website; and understand which content is of greatest interest to users.

The user guarantees that the Personal Data provided to the Club is theirs and/or they have the legal authority to provide it, that it is accurate, and undertakes to inform the Club, whenever required, of any substantial change to it. A substantial change means any change that prevents proper contact, location or identification of the user.
By providing us with your Personal Data and reading this notice, you tacitly consent to its processing both inside and outside the United Mexican States by the following persons: (i) third parties who have a relationship with the Club, including without limitation service providers, instructors and tandem flight operators, and (ii) competent authorities. It is understood that such persons may only use this data for the purposes stated above on behalf of the Club, and that it will always be processed in accordance with the Club's privacy and security policies.
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection to their collected data (ARCO rights), as well as revoke their consent or limit its use, through the procedures we have put in place. This notice is prepared under applicable Mexican law. Therefore, in the event of legislative reforms or changes that serve the interests of the Club, the Club reserves the right to make the necessary changes to this notice, as well as to the terms and conditions shown on the website. In such cases, the Club will announce the changes made on this site with reasonable notice before they take effect.
